No camera switching on by accident. No "can you hear me?" before the conversation even starts. Just open a room and type. If it turns into something worth talking out loud, you can switch your mic on later — nothing forces you to decide that upfront.
Most random chat sites treat text as the consolation option — what you settle for if your camera's broken or you're too shy for video. That's backwards. Typing gives you something video doesn't: a second to think before you send. You can re-read a sentence before it goes out. You can pause mid-thought without dead air making it awkward. None of that exists on a live video call.
It's also just more practical sometimes. You're on a bus. You're at work with people nearby. It's 1am and you don't want to wake anyone with your voice. A text room works in every one of those situations where video or even voice chat would be out of the question. Plenty of text chat rooms and sites exist for exactly this reason — this one just happens to let you switch formats without starting over.
And if a conversation is genuinely going somewhere, nothing stops you from switching. Tap the mic, start talking, keep going in the same room. Text isn't a dead end — it's just a different starting point, and for a lot of conversations, the better one.
Re-read, edit, pause as long as you want before hitting enter. A video call doesn't give you that — text does.
Quiet room, public transport, 3am with everyone asleep — text chat doesn't care about your surroundings.
Same room, same conversation. Turn your mic on the moment it feels right — no restarting, no new link.

Most random chat is English-only by default. Pick a Tamil, Telugu or Hindi room and you're typing with someone who reads it the same way you write it.
Type as much as you want, as long as you want. There's no character cap pushing you toward an upgrade screen.
Text reports get the same human review as video reports — usually within 2 hours. Typing doesn't mean lower priority.
No registration, no account. The Text Chat tab is already selected by default when you land on the page.
Choose a language room if you want one, or just click Start for a global match. No camera permission prompt to dismiss.
Someone real is on the other end. If you want to switch to voice partway through, tap the mic icon — same conversation continues.
Each language room is the same text-and-voice space — pick Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Malayalam or Kannada and you're paired with someone who actually uses that language day to day.
Many ways to connect — choose based on your interest and language.
