WebRTC connects your device directly to the other person's
device when the network allows it. The media stream never
passes through our servers. We cannot record it because
we never see it. When the call ends, it's gone — not
archived, not cached, not retrievable.
Text messages:
Text exists in server RAM only — the kind of memory that
clears itself. When your session ends, those messages are
gone. They're not written to a database, not stored in
any log file, not recoverable after the session.
Your account:
There isn't one. There is no registration option on
Chatzyo — not a hidden one, not a premium one. You join
as a guest. That's the only mode that exists.
IP addresses:
Held for a maximum of 30 days for moderation and safety
purposes, then deleted. This is the one honest caveat —
