This agreement governs your use of Chatzyo.in. By accessing any part of this platform, you agree to be bound by these terms. Please read them carefully before using our services.
This agreement is between you ("the User") and the operator of Chatzyo.in:
Chatzyo is a free-to-use platform providing random video, voice and text chat in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Kannada, Malayalam and 10+ Indian languages. The platform is funded through advertising and does not charge users for any feature.
By visiting chatzyo.in, entering any chat room, or using any feature of the platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service, our Privacy Policy, and our Community Guidelines.
If you access the platform on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that organisation to these terms. If you do not agree to any part of these terms, you must stop using the platform immediately.
These terms apply to all users regardless of location. Users in the European Union are additionally protected by applicable GDPR rights as described in our Privacy Policy.
Chatzyo is an adults-only platform. You must be at least 18 years of age to use any feature of this platform. This requirement exists because the platform enables live, unmoderated conversations with strangers, which may include topics or content inappropriate for minors.
An age verification prompt is displayed to all new visitors. Confirming that you are 18+ is a binding representation. Providing a false age confirmation is a breach of these terms.
Chatzyo is provided for lawful, personal, non-commercial communication. The following are explicitly permitted:
The following conduct is strictly prohibited and will result in immediate suspension or permanent ban:
Sharing, broadcasting, or requesting nudity, pornographic material, or sexually suggestive content of any kind. Chatzyo does not permit adult content under any circumstances.
Cyberbullying, stalking, threatening, or directing hate speech toward another user based on race, religion, gender, sexual orientation, nationality, or any other characteristic.
Soliciting or sharing phone numbers, email addresses, social media handles, payment details, home addresses, or any other personally identifiable information during a chat session.
Capturing, recording, taking screenshots of, or rebroadcasting another participant's audio, video, or messages without their consent is prohibited and may result in suspension or permanent removal from Chatzyo.
Using bots, scrapers, automated scripts, or any non-human method to interact with the platform, manipulate room traffic, harvest user data, or circumvent moderation systems.
Using the platform to facilitate any activity that is illegal under Indian law or the laws of your country, including fraud, grooming, trafficking, or distribution of illegal content.
Impersonating another person, creating false identities, or misrepresenting your age, location, or identity to manipulate or deceive other users.
Attempting to disrupt, overload, or gain unauthorised access to any part of the Chatzyo infrastructure, including denial-of-service attacks, injection attacks, or reverse-engineering the signalling system.
Chatzyo does not facilitate dating, matchmaking, adult services, or any commercial activity between users. The platform is for non-commercial personal communication only.
Chatzyo operates as a signalling facilitator for Peer-to-Peer (P2P) connections using WebRTC technology. This has important implications for users:
No server-side recording: Chatzyo does not store, monitor, or archive live video or audio streams. Media is transmitted directly between users' browsers using encrypted WebRTC protocols (DTLS/SRTP). Chatzyo is designed so that live audio and video streams are transmitted directly between users and are not stored by the platform.
IP address visibility: During WebRTC connection setup, your IP address may be exchanged with the other participant as part of the ICE candidate negotiation process. This is a technical requirement of WebRTC and applies to all P2P platforms. If you are concerned about IP visibility, use a VPN before initiating a video call.
User responsibility: Because Chatzyo cannot monitor live P2P connections in real time, you use the platform at your own risk during a session. Chatzyo is not liable for the conduct of other users during live interactions. Use the in-session Report button immediately if you encounter a violation.
Text chat: Text messages in chat rooms are stored temporarily in server RAM only for the duration of the session and are permanently deleted when the session ends. No text history is retained.
Chatzyo is funded through advertising. By using the platform, you acknowledge that advertisements may be displayed on informational pages. Advertisements are served by Google AdSense (Publisher ID: ca-pub-1224679850562297).
Chatzyo does not endorse and is not responsible for the content, accuracy, or services offered by third-party advertisers. Clicking an advertisement takes you to a third-party website governed by that party's own terms and privacy policy.
Chatzyo also uses Google Analytics 4 (Property ID: G-J8VTDTSPPJ) for anonymised site usage analytics — activated only with your consent. See our Privacy Policy — Google Analytics section for full details.
Chatzyo reserves the right to restrict, suspend, or permanently ban any user from the platform at any time, with or without prior notice, for violation of these Terms of Service or our Community Guidelines.
Because Chatzyo is a guest-access platform with no user accounts, enforcement is applied at the IP address and device level. The following enforcement levels apply:

All enforcement decisions are reviewed by a human moderator. To appeal a ban you believe was applied in error, email support@chatzyo.in with the subject line "Ban Appeal". Include your approximate IP address and the date of the incident. We aim to respond to ban appeals within 5 business days.
Chatzyo is not liable for any loss of access, data, or conversational content resulting from a suspension or ban. Termination of access does not affect any legal obligations you may have arising from your conduct on the platform.
The "CHATZYO" name, logo, brand identity, UI/UX design, WebRTC signalling protocols, and all original content on chatzyo.in are the exclusive intellectual property of Gowrishankar Rangasamy, operating as Chatzyo. All rights are reserved.
Users are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use the platform for personal, non-commercial purposes only. This licence does not include:
Chatzyo.in is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Chatzyo and its operator expressly disclaim all warranties, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
Chatzyo does not guarantee that:
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Chatzyo and Gowrishankar Rangasamy shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the platform or your interaction with other users — even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death, personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot be excluded under Indian law.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Chatzyo, its operator (Gowrishankar Rangasamy), and any affiliates from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses — including reasonable legal fees — arising out of or in connection with:
These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these terms, including any question regarding their existence, validity, or termination, shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, India.
By using Chatzyo, users in all countries — including users in the European Union, United States, United Kingdom, and elsewhere — agree to submit to Indian jurisdiction for any legal matter arising from their use of this platform.
Before initiating any formal legal proceedings, we request that users first attempt to resolve the matter informally by contacting us at support@chatzyo.in. We will make a good-faith effort to resolve disputes within 30 days.
Chatzyo reserves the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. When changes are made, the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page will be revised. Significant changes will also be noted on the homepage.
Your continued use of the platform after any update constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms. If you do not agree to the updated terms, you must stop using the platform. We recommend reviewing this page periodically, particularly if you are a regular user.
